Riftbound Vendetta Launch-Week Buying Checklist

Launch week is the most expensive time to buy a new set on impulse — and the best time to buy it well if you have a plan. Here's a simple checklist to get through Vendetta's launch (Pre-Rift from 24 July, release 31 July) without overpaying.

Before launch (this week)

• Decide your goal. Playing at launch, collecting, or investing? Each points to a different buy. Be honest about which you are.
• Draft your deck list. Use the Vendetta deckbuilding guide and best Vendetta decks so you know exactly which cards you need before prices spike.
• Wishlist your targets. Add them from the database so a price drop pings you automatically.

At launch (24–31 July)

After the dust settles

• Re-check in week two. Once more product hits shelves, non-chase singles usually ease. If a card wasn't urgent, this is often the cheaper moment.
