How to Sell Riftbound Cards for the Best Price

RiftCompare ยท 9 June 2026 ยท 5 min read

Got a stack of Riftbound cards gathering dust โ€” duplicates, cards from a deck you've moved on from, or pulls you don't need? Here's how to turn them into cash (or store credit) and get a fair price.

1. Price your cards accurately first

Before you list anything, find out what your cards are actually worth today. Look each one up on the card database to see its live price across every store we track. A few things to get right:

  • The exact printing. Base, alt-art, Showcase, Signature, Overnumbered and promo versions all trade at very different prices. RiftCompare labels each printing in the card name so you can match yours precisely.
  • Condition. Near Mint (NM) is the benchmark; lightly to heavily played copies sell for less. Be honest โ€” it builds trust and avoids returns.
  • Which cards are worth listing now. Check the price movers โ€” if one of your cards is spiking this week, that's the one to list first.

2. Choose where to sell

  • The RiftCompare forum. Post a free want-to-sell listing on the forum โ€” it reaches players actively looking to buy, with no listing fees. Great for singles, bulk and trades.
  • The RiftCompare marketplace. If you sell regularly, becoming a verified seller puts your listings right inside the price comparison, in front of buyers at the moment they're choosing where to buy.
  • eBay and local stores. For high-value chase cards, a wider audience can help โ€” just factor in fees and postage when you compare your net.

3. Set a competitive price

The cards that sell fastest are the ones priced at or just under the cheapest comparable listing. Open the card on RiftCompare, see the lowest current price, and pitch yours accordingly:

  • Want a fast sale? Undercut the cheapest in-stock listing slightly.
  • Not in a hurry? Price at market and wait โ€” especially if the card is trending up.
  • Selling a whole deck? Price it as a bundle with the deck pricer so buyers can see the value at a glance.

4. Ship smart and build a reputation

  • Use a rigid mailer and a sleeve + top-loader so cards arrive in the condition you described.
  • Post quickly and communicate โ€” repeat buyers come from good experiences.
  • Bundle small cards together so postage doesn't eat the value of a cheap sale.

Ready to list? Post on the forum or browse the database to price your collection first. Selling to fund your next deck? See where to buy Riftbound cards to spend it well.
