Riftbound Seraphine Spoiler: Starry-Eyed Songstress, the Legend in Print

Seraphine's Legend has been pictured in print — and it is a bigger deal than one more spoiler, because this is the exact card this site spent September refusing to quote.

When purported text for Seraphine's and Evelynn's Legends went around anonymous social-media accounts earlier this month, we did not reproduce a word of it, on either the Radiance spoiler tracker or the mechanics leak write-up. The reason was provenance: text typed into a post by an account with no track record is not evidence, and printing it as fact is how a rumour launders itself into a "leak everyone reported". So we waited.

What surfaced on 22 September clears that bar. Seraphine's Legend — Starry-Eyed Songstress — has been photographed as a physical card, numbered and artist-credited, and a second, over-numbered printing appeared in a card-artist feature. That is the same standard the first Neeko card met when it was photographed in print six days ago: a real object with a collector number on it, not a claim. And because the printed wording matches the September social leak, the two now corroborate each other. It is still not an official Riot reveal — Preview Season opens 25 September — but it is finally something worth reading closely.

As an additional cost to play a spell, you may exhaust me and three friendly units to reduce the cost of that spell by 2.

That is the whole card. A Legend does not have Might or an energy cost — it sits in your Legend Zone as the deck's identity, and it fixes your domains. What Starry-Eyed Songstress adds to that identity is a single, repeatable discount you can reach for on any turn you are casting a spell.

Why a discount engine is the interesting kind of Legend

Only one other Radiance Legend has had its ability made public — Ekko, Boy Who Shattered Time, a Fury/Mind Legend built on Empower that makes your next unit cheaper and then kills it at end of turn. Seraphine is the second, and the two are a study in contrast. Ekko discounts a unit and takes it back off you. Seraphine discounts a spell, and the price she charges is tempo, not a life-span.

Break the ability into its three moving parts and it tells you exactly what deck wants it:

• *It is an additional cost, and it is optional.* You never have to use it. On a turn when you have nothing spare to tap, Seraphine does nothing and costs you nothing. That is the right way to price a build-around: it is upside, never a tax.
• It taxes your board, not your hand. The cost is exhausting Seraphine plus three friendly units — which means it only exists if you have gone wide, and it turns three of your units sideways for the turn. Units you exhaust for the discount are not attacking or blocking. So the discount is really a trade: board tempo now, for cheaper spells now.
• The payoff scales with the spell. Two energy off a 3-cost spell is a modest tempo swing. Two energy off a 7- or 8-cost finisher, on a turn you were always going to sit back anyway, can be the difference between casting it a turn early and dying with it in hand.

Put together, this is a go-wide-into-big-spells Legend. It does nothing in a lean aggressive shell and nothing in a spell-light board deck. It wants a table full of cheap bodies and a hand with something expensive to point them at — a genuinely distinct archetype, which is what makes it worth a Legend slot rather than a line of reminder text.

The two printings, and what "174/167" means

Starry-Eyed Songstress has been seen twice, and the difference between the two prints is the collector story of the set in miniature.

The first, art by Naifan Zhang, is numbered 151/167 and carries a promo stamp. That number sits inside the base run — Radiance's base numbered set is 167 cards, the denominator Neeko's 167/167 first established — so 151 is an ordinary in-set slot wearing a promotional finish.

The second, art by Anna Nikonova, is numbered 174/167. That denominator is the tell: 174 is above 167, and cards numbered above a set's base run are where Riftbound puts its premium treatments — the Showcase and chase variants, numbered on top of the base set in every release so far. So the 174/167 Starry-Eyed Songstress is not a different card; it is the alternate-art chase printing of the same Legend, and it is the one collectors will actually hunt. If you have followed how Vendetta's over-numbered cards behaved, you already know the shape of what happens next: the base printing is attainable, the over-number carries the premium, and the gap between them is set by how good the card turns out to be.

Seraphine's other Radiance card is already in people's hands

Here is the part that trips up every "new Seraphine card" headline: Seraphine has two cards in Radiance, and one of them has existed for months.

Seraphine, Not Alone is a Champion Unit — the version of Seraphine you actually play to the board, as opposed to the Legend that sits in the Legend Zone. It is Order domain, 5 energy, 1 Might, and its text reads: when you play her or when she becomes exhausted, play a 1-Might Recruit unit token to your base; and she has +1 Might for each other exhausted unit you control. It shipped early inside the Riftbound x T1 2025 Worlds Champion Collection, so anyone who won a T1 box is already holding a Radiance card — one that is not legal for sanctioned play until the set releases.

What the new leak adds is small but real: it shows Not Alone's Radiance collector number, 138/167. The T1 printing is numbered T1S · 005/005; the set printing is 138/167. Same card, same text, a base-set number instead of a collaboration one.

And placed next to the Legend, Not Alone stops looking like a coincidence. Read the two abilities together:

• Not Alone makes Recruit unit tokens — it goes wide on its own — and it grows +1 Might for every other exhausted unit you control. It wants your units tapped.
• Starry-Eyed Songstress pays for its discount by exhausting three friendly units. It taps units as a resource.

Those two halves fit together almost too neatly. Tokens from Not Alone become the fodder Starry-Eyed Songstress exhausts; exhausting them to discount a spell simultaneously feeds Not Alone's own Might. Whether that loop is actually strong or just cute is a question for real cards and a real format — but the design intent is legible, and it says Seraphine in Radiance is being built as a go-wide, exhaust-matters champion across both of her cards. That is a much clearer picture than either card gives alone.

What we are deliberately not telling you

This site's whole value on a leak is drawing the line between what is on the card and what we would be guessing at, so:

• We are not printing a domain for the Legend. Starry-Eyed Songstress carries two domain gems — one blue, one gold — but a gem read off a screenshot is not an official domain declaration, and a wrong domain is exactly the kind of "fact" people build a purchase around. Riot's reveal settles it. What is confirmed is that Seraphine's Champion Unit, Not Alone, is Order — that card is catalogued from a printing that physically exists.
• We are not assigning it a rarity. The base run has a rarity, the promo and the over-number are treatments on top of it, and none of that is legible enough on these images to state. When a clean image lands, the set hub gets it.
• We are not reproducing the wider September leak. The Seraphine Legend text matched; a Kai'Sa card from the same wave used a keyword name in a way that contradicts Riot's own demo material, so at least one source in that batch is wrong. Corroboration for this one card is not a blank cheque for the rest.

How this changes the Radiance picture

Three things move because of this.

Seraphine goes from "card exists, Legend doesn't" to a fully sketched champion. Until now her only concrete card was Not Alone, and her Legend was rumour. Both halves are now visible, and they point the same way. Of the six confirmed Legends, she and Ekko are the two whose game plan you can actually describe.

The music theme keeps hardening. Seraphine and Evelynn are two thirds of K/DA's front line; Ekko fronted True Damage; the 22 September contents graphic put HEARTSTEEL in the set. A go-wide "sing them into being" engine is exactly the flavour you would expect the K/DA headliner to carry, and it is one more sign the music roster is the spine of Radiance rather than a coat of paint.

The Showdown Decks get more interesting. The beginner product is literally Seraphine vs. Evelynn, and it is the only place either champion's cards are guaranteed. If Starry-Eyed Songstress is the Legend that ships in that Seraphine deck, the Showdown Decks stop being a pure beginner box and become the cheapest route to a build-around most players will want to try.

What this means if you are buying

Same three rules as every pre-release card, because they are the ones that save money.

Do not buy a Radiance single yet. There is no Radiance secondary market — the set does not release until 23 October 2026. A Seraphine single offered today is a pre-sale against a card nobody can legally deliver, at a price set by hype rather than supply.

"Seraphine" is about to mean at least four different objects at four different prices — the Not Alone Champion Unit at 138/167, the Starry-Eyed Songstress Legend at 151/167, its 174/167 over-numbered chase, and the T1 collection printing that already exists. The collector number is what tells them apart, and it is the first thing our matcher reads off a listing.
