The five Riftbound: Radiance K/DA special cards fanned out: Ahri, Confident; Akali, Brash; Evelynn, In Control; Kai'Sa, Rebel and Seraphine, Not Alone, numbered SP1 to SP5 of 005

The short version

  • Riftbound: Radiance has five K/DA cards, one for each member of Riot's virtual pop group: Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai'Sa and Seraphine, numbered SP1 to SP5 of 005.
  • Each is a K/DA art printing of a Radiance Champion Unit. The same card also has a regular print in the main set, so the K/DA version changes nothing about how it plays.
  • It is the first time all five members are in the game. Ahri and Kai'Sa came in Origins and Akali in Vendetta; Evelynn and Seraphine debut in Radiance.
  • They are not rarer than an alt art, according to riftbound.gg's reporting: about the same rate as a regular alternate art, never guaranteed in a pack or box. Riot publishes no pull rates.
  • Vendetta's closest equivalent, the six Crystal Rose specials, fell hard after launch: a median of $130 four days before release, $44 in launch week and $22 by 6 October.

Riftbound: Radiance is a music set, and it was always going to need K/DA. Riot's virtual pop group gets five special cards, one for each member, numbered SP1 to SP5 of 005. Here is every card, what it does, how it compares with the cards you can already buy, and what Vendetta's Crystal Rose specials say about prices after release.

The five K/DA cards

#CardDomainCost / MightWhat it does
SP1Ahri, ConfidentUS$799.99Calm4 / 4Disarm. When you reduce an enemy unit's Might at her battlefield, she gets +1 Might this turn.
SP2Akali, BrashFury5 / 5The first time she moves each turn, add 1 energy and 1 power. The second time, banish your top card and you may play it until your next Ending Phase.
SP3Evelynn, In ControlChaos4 / 4Disarm. When she holds, if you control a facedown card at her battlefield, score 1 point.
SP4Kai'Sa, RebelMind5 / 5Disarm. While she is in a showdown, your spells have Reaction.
SP5Seraphine, Not AloneOrder5 / 1When you play her or she becomes exhausted, make a 1 Might Recruit token. She has +1 Might for each other exhausted unit you control.

All five are Champion Units, and Riot's card gallery lists them as Showcase. Three of them carry Disarm, one of Radiance's new keywords: when the unit attacks, an enemy unit at that battlefield gets -1 Might this turn.

The same cards, new art

None of the five is a new card. Each is a K/DA printing of a Radiance Champion Unit that also has a regular print in the main set, with the same name, cost, Might and text:

The same five cards in their main set printings

Same name, cost and rules text as the K/DA versions. Evelynn and Seraphine also have a Showcase alternate art.

So the K/DA version is a collector's choice, never a deckbuilding one. A player who wants Kai'Sa, Rebel in a deck needs the Rare at 063, not SP4.

How each card plays

The art is the draw, but these are real cards, and a couple of them look like they will see play. All of this is read off the card text; nobody has played Radiance in sanctioned events yet.

Ahri, ConfidentUS$19.99 (SP1) is a Calm 4 cost, 4 Might unit that rewards shrinking enemies. Her own Disarm does the first point of work when she attacks, which then gives her +1 Might for the turn, so she attacks as a 5 into a unit that is a point smaller than it was. Any other Might reduction at her battlefield, from a spell or another Disarm unit, triggers her again.

Akali, Brash (SP2) is a Fury 5 cost, 5 Might unit built around moving. The first move each turn pays for itself with an energy and a power. The second banishes the top card of your Main Deck and lets you play it until your next Ending Phase, which is card advantage for a deck that can move her twice, through Ganking or a movement spell.

Evelynn, In Control (SP3) is a Chaos 4 cost, 4 Might unit that scores. If she holds a battlefield where you control a facedown card, you score a point. Radiance has several cards that hide a card at a battlefield, and she pairs with any of them, and her Disarm helps her win the fight to get there.

Kai'Sa, Rebel (SP4) is a Mind 5 cost, 5 Might unit that turns every spell you hold into an instant during a showdown. That lets a spell heavy deck keep its answers back until the fight starts, and her Disarm softens the defender first.

Seraphine, Not AloneUS$14.07 (SP5) is an Order 5 cost unit with 1 printed Might that makes 1 Might Recruit tokens when you play her and each time she becomes exhausted, and gets +1 Might for every other exhausted unit you control. In a deck that exhausts its own units on purpose, she grows the board and herself at once.

How they're numbered and pulled

The SP numbering is not new. Vendetta's six Crystal Rose cards, Wild Rift crossover alternates, were numbered SP1 to SP6, and Riot explained then that overnumbers are kept for art made for Riftbound. K/DA gets the same treatment with its own five-card range, separate from Radiance's overnumbered Legends and the six HEARTSTEEL overnumbers.

On rarity, Riot publishes no pull rates. riftbound.gg reports that the special alternate arts come up at about the same rate as a regular alternate art, from the same flex slot, and are never guaranteed in a pack or box. If that holds, a K/DA card is a nice pull rather than a box's chase. Treat it as second hand until boxes have been opened in numbers.

All five members, for the first time

K/DA debuted at the 2018 League of Legends World Championship with Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai'Sa, and Seraphine joined them for 2020's ALL OUT. In Riftbound, Ahri and Kai'Sa have been in the game since Origins and Akali arrived in Vendetta. Evelynn and Seraphine debut in Radiance, each with a Legend of her own: Evelynn, Agony's Embrace and Seraphine, Starry-Eyed Songstress. Radiance is the first set where a collector can finish the group.

The K/DA members' other Radiance cards

The specials are only one corner of the K/DA story in Radiance. Each member has a regular unit in the main set, and the two newcomers get much more:

For a collector chasing the group, that makes Seraphine the deepest K/DA member in Radiance by a distance: nine printings of her own counting the special, before her signature spell.

What to expect on price

The closest thing Riftbound has had to a K/DA tier is Vendetta's Crystal Rose run, and its prices are a warning. Using our daily price history, the median Crystal Rose special cost $130 four days before Vendetta's release, $44 in launch week, $38 a month later and $22 by 6 October. Today the dearest two, Kai'Sa and Ahri, are around $70; the other four are around $11 to $20. The full breakdown is in Radiance chase cards: what Vendetta's prices say to expect.

K/DA is not Crystal Rose. It is League's best known music act, and a collector who wants the group needs all five cards. But the two tiers share the things that drove Crystal Rose down: the specials are not rare, and in Vendetta the money went to the signed Legends, not the special tier. The K/DA members' own signed Legends show how far apart those tiers sit:

Those are the 14 October US prices behind the live cards above: Ahri's signed Origins Legend at about $3,711 and her signed Spiritforged Showcase at $3,334, Akali's signed Legend at $2,673 and Kai'Sa's at $1,900, against about $70 for the dearest Crystal Rose special. Seraphine's signed Legend, 174*/167, is the Radiance card to watch if you want K/DA at the top end.

If you are buying early, the Crystal Rose numbers are worth knowing: the first listings before Vendetta's release were the dearest those cards have been. We do not predict prices, so set a price alert on the K/DA card you want and you will hear when it moves.

Before you buy a K/DA card

  • Check the number, not just the name. "Ahri SP" could be Radiance's Ahri, Confident SP1/005US$799.99 or Vendetta's Crystal Rose Ahri, Inquisitive SP3/006US$67.57, and "Kai'Sa SP" could be Radiance's SP4/005 or Vendetta's Crystal Rose SP1/006. The denominator, 005 or 006, tells you which set it is from.
  • Pre-order or in hand. Until 23 October, a listing for a K/DA single is a promise to post a card the seller may not have pulled yet. Read the dispatch date.
  • Language. Riftbound is printed in more than one language, and our prices compare English printings. A listing that does not say which language it is should be asked about before you pay.
  • Compare stores. Each card page lists every store we track that has the card in stock, cheapest first, in your currency, with eBay alongside.

Card names, numbers, domains and text are from Riot's official Radiance card gallery. Pull rate details are riftbound.gg's reporting, not a Riot figure.

Frequently asked questions

Are there K/DA cards in Riftbound?

Yes. Riftbound: Radiance has five K/DA special cards, numbered SP1 to SP5 of 005: Ahri, Confident; Akali, Brash; Evelynn, In Control; Kai'Sa, Rebel and Seraphine, Not Alone. Radiance releases on 23 October 2026.

Are the K/DA cards new cards?

They are new printings, not new cards. Each is a K/DA art version of a Radiance Champion Unit that also has a regular print in the main set (038, 015, 109, 063 and 138 of 167), with the same name, cost, Might and rules text.

How rare are the Riftbound K/DA cards?

Riot does not publish pull rates. riftbound.gg reports that the special alternate arts turn up at about the same rate as a regular alternate art and are not guaranteed in any pack or box. Treat that as second hand until boxes have been opened in numbers.

Why are the K/DA cards numbered SP instead of overnumbered?

Riftbound has used an SP range before: Vendetta's six Crystal Rose cards were numbered SP1 to SP6, and Riot said then that overnumbers are kept for art made for Riftbound. The K/DA cards follow the same pattern with their own SP1 to SP5 range.

How much are the K/DA cards worth?

Nothing has a settled price before release. The closest guide is Vendetta's Crystal Rose specials, whose median fell from $130 four days before release to $44 in launch week and $22 by 6 October. Each K/DA card's page compares every store's price as listings appear.

Which K/DA member is in Riftbound for the first time?

Two are: Evelynn and Seraphine both debut in Radiance, each with a Legend of her own (Evelynn, Agony's Embrace and Seraphine, Starry-Eyed Songstress). Ahri and Kai'Sa have been in the game since Origins and Akali since Vendetta.
