About Ambessa, Matriarch of War
Ambessa Signature is the Signature print of Ambessa, Matriarch of War — numbered 196*/166, past the end of Vendetta's base run, which is what makes it far scarcer than the ordinary showcase printing. It is a Legend in the Body domain.
9 stores in the United States have it, from US$299.95 up, with the second-cheapest at US$350.00 — a 17% spread across 9 tracked listings.
There is no real discount for accepting wear — the cheapest played copy is US$458.50 against US$299.95 Near Mint, so buy the better copy.
Ambessa, Matriarch of War is stocked in 6 of the markets we track — the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Canada, the EU — each priced in its own currency, so the table above ranks by price inside whichever market you pick rather than converting between them. In the United States the cheapest listing is US$299.95 before postage and US$299.95 delivered.
The Signature print carries a 29995.0× premium over the plain version — US$299.95 against US$0.01. Both are legal in the same decks, so that gap is paying for the art and the scarcity, not for anything on the table.
Within Vendetta this is a genuine chase card: it is more expensive than 97% of the 269 priced cards in the set, against a set median of US$0.05. Cards at this end of a set's distribution are what make sealed product worth opening, and what make it expensive to buy singles for a deck that needs them.

Prices are live listings from stores in each market, in the currency that store actually charges. The “≈ USD” column is an indicative conversion for comparison only — not a quote, and not what you'll be billed. Stores generally ship within their own market, and international postage, duty and GST/VAT aren't included, so a cheaper market elsewhere isn't necessarily cheaper to get delivered to you.
