Riftbound Metal Cards: Every Prize Wall and Best Of Card

Riftbound metal cards fanned out: Kai'Sa, Viktor, Jinx, Teemo, Ahri, Sett and Lux in their metal Prize Wall and Best Of printings

The short version

  • Riftbound has 86 metal cards on TCGplayer across five sets: 49 Prize Wall printings (non-foil "Plated Legends") and 37 Best Of printings (holographic "Foil Plated Legends").
  • Prize Wall metals are traded for tickets at Regional Qualifiers: 40 Prize Wall tickets each, one per person per weekend. Best Of metals are won, one per Legend per event, by the best-placed player on that Legend.
  • The dearest on TCGplayer on 25 October: Teemo, Swift Scout (Prize Wall) at a US$4,400 market price and Ahri, Nine-Tailed Fox (Best Of) at US$4,232.98. Most sit between US$1,000 and US$2,500.
  • Riot changed metal prizing on 15 October: Best Of prizes at Regional Championships now come only from Unleashed, Vendetta and Radiance, and Radiance's metal Legends are expected from January 2027.
  • Every metal card below has its own page with TCGplayer, eBay and graded prices, refreshed daily.

Metal cards are the rarest Riftbound cards you can hold. They are not in any pack. Riot hands them out at its organized-play events, as metal reprints of the game's champion Legends, and the cheapest of them sells for more than most booster boxes. This is every one of them: what each kind is, how it is earned, what each one costs today, and what is coming next.

Every card below has its own page on RiftCompare, with its TCGplayer price, eBay listings and graded copies compared side by side and refreshed every day.

Prize Wall metals are earned with tickets. Every match played at a Regional Qualifier earns Prize Wall tickets, and the wall trades a metal Legend for 40 of them, one per person per weekend. They cost 10 tickets when the Prize Wall launched; Riot raised the price after the Houston qualifier.

Best Of metals are won. At each event, the highest-placing player on each Legend, with at least four Main Event wins or a place in Day 2, gets that Legend's holographic metal. One per Legend per event makes them far scarcer than the Prize Wall printing of the same card.

Best Of foil metals

Holographic metal Legends, one per Legend per event, for the best-placed player on that Legend.

Why the prices look the way they do

Origins metals cost the most. Teemo, Jinx, Kai'Sa and Yasuo, the faces of the game's first set, take four of the top five Prize Wall prices.

The champion matters as much as the card. Metal cards are bought to keep rather than to play, so the best-loved champions lead the list.

Best Of is scarcer than Prize Wall, but not always dearer. One Best Of per Legend per event should make it the pricier printing, and for Ahri it is. For most Legends there are too few Best Of sales to set a reliable price, which is why so many rows above show a gap.

The asking price is not the price. Several cheapest listings sit far above the market price (Kai'Sa's Prize Wall metal was listed at US$10,000 against a US$2,739.20 market price). With so few copies for sale, one seller's ask is not a valuation. Each card's page shows every source, so check the sales, not just the listing.

What changed in October, and what is coming

On 15 October 2026 Riot changed how metal cards are handed out at its Regional Championships:

  • Best Of prizes now come from Unleashed, Vendetta and Radiance only. Origins, Proving Grounds and Spiritforged Legends are no longer awarded. No new Origins Best Of metals means the ones already out are all there will be, unless Riot reverses it.
  • Overnumbered Foil Plated Legends go to the top 58 finishers, who pick in order of placing.
  • Radiance's metal Legends are not out yet. Riot expects them from January 2027 and has not yet said how they will be distributed.

The next metal cards to be handed out are at the European Regional Championship in Stuttgart (6–8 November) and the North American Regional Championship in Las Vegas (11–13 December). We add each new metal card as soon as it has a TCGplayer listing.

Before you buy a metal card

  • Check which printing it is. Prize Wall is non-foil; Best Of is holographic. Sellers do not always say which, and the price gap can be thousands of dollars.
  • Ask for photos at an angle, so the metal finish and any foil show.
  • Compare the market price with the listing. A listing several times the market price is a starting point, not a value.
  • Watch the card instead of buying today. A free account emails you when a card you watch drops in price or gets a new listing.

The Radiance promo cards post covers the season's Nexus Night and Summoner Skirmish promos, and the Radiance Signature cards are the set's rarest pack pulls.

Frequently asked questions

What are Riftbound metal cards?

Metal reprints of champion Legends that Riot gives out at organized-play events, not in packs. There are two kinds: the non-foil Prize Wall printing (a "Plated Legend"), traded for Prize Wall tickets, and the holographic Best Of printing (a "Foil Plated Legend"), won by the best-placed player on each Legend. Some players call them medal cards.

How do you get a Riftbound metal card?

At a Regional Qualifier, Prize Wall metals cost 40 Prize Wall tickets each, one per person per weekend (they cost 10 tickets when the Prize Wall launched; Riot raised the price after Houston). Best Of metals go to the highest-placing player on each Legend who reaches at least four Main Event wins or Day 2. Otherwise the only way is to buy one.

How many Riftbound metal cards are there?

TCGplayer lists 86: 49 Prize Wall and 37 Best Of printings, from Origins, Proving Grounds, Spiritforged, Unleashed and Vendetta. Radiance's metal Legends have not been released; Riot expects them from January 2027.

What is the most expensive Riftbound metal card?

On TCGplayer on 25 October 2026, Teemo, Swift Scout's Prize Wall metal had the highest market price at US$4,400, followed by Ahri, Nine-Tailed Fox's Best Of at US$4,232.98. Private sales of Best Of metals have been reported far higher, but those are not public listings.

What is the difference between Prize Wall and Best Of metal cards?

Prize Wall metals are non-foil and are traded for tickets, so anyone at a Regional Qualifier can earn one. Best Of metals are holographic and only one of each Legend is given per event, to the top-placed player on it, which makes them much scarcer.

Are metal cards tournament legal?

They are reprints of existing Legends with the same rules text. Check the current tournament rules for card-condition and sleeving requirements before playing a metal card; most owners keep them in a display case.
