• You're after a specific condition or printing a store doesn't have in stock. Marketplace sellers list exactly what's in their binder, including played copies at played-copy prices, alt-arts, and printings that sell out at retail in minutes.
• You want to actually talk to the seller. Built-in messaging means you can ask "is this really Near Mint?" before you buy, something you can't do with a store listing.
