If you've spent any time around Riftbound collectors, you've probably seen someone mention "GGEZ Teemo" like everyone should already know what that means — and among collectors, most people kind of do. It's the nickname for one specific printing of one specific card: Teemo, Scout, promo number 197b/298 from Origins, and it's become one of the most talked-about (and priciest) pieces of cardboard in the whole game.

What GGEZ Teemo actually is

Strip away the nickname and the card underneath is a 2-energy, 1-Might Chaos unit — the promo printing of the base Teemo, Scout card that's been in Origins packs since launch. What makes it a Nexus Night promo rather than just another pull is the collector number: 197b, the "b" marking it as the promo treatment of card 197, given out during Origins' very first wave of Nexus Nights — Riftbound's weekly, casual, local-game-store events, not a tournament.

The card, not just the meme

GGEZ Teemo carries Hidden: pay 1 rune to hide it face-down at one of your battlefields, then from the next turn onward you can play it for free — ignoring its printed cost — whenever a Reaction card could be played. Why "GG EZ"?

"gg ez" — "good game, easy" — is one of League of Legends' most notorious taunts: something you type in all-chat after a win to rub it in, and something Teemo mains in particular have a long-running reputation for typing rather too often. Riot leaned all the way into the joke on this promo, and the community ran with it — "GGEZ Teemo" stuck as the card's name well before most people learned its actual collector number.
