# Plus and Premium: Every Feature Explained

What's free on RiftCompare, and what Plus and Premium add, one feature at a time: the set checklist, alerts, sealed watches, store plans and more.

If you have never used RiftCompare, here is the whole thing in two sentences. **Comparing Riftbound card prices is free**: every card, every store we track in your country, plus eBay, with the delivered total (the item price plus postage) wherever the store publishes its postage — no account, no limit. **Plus and Premium watch prices for you**, so you stop checking: your own target price on a card, a sealed box that comes back in stock or lands at RRP, and, with Premium, a whole deck's delivered total, each checked after every price update (sealed products about every six hours) and emailed to you when it's there. The site also shows what your binder is missing from a set, free.

This post goes through what you get, one feature at a time, with nothing rounded up or left vague. Two words you'll see a lot: **delivered** means the item price plus postage, and **RRP** is the recommended retail price — the price Riot sets.

Both tiers run through Stripe. A first-time subscriber's first 30 days cost $1, and the price in the table starts after that unless you cancel; there is no other introductory price. You can move from Plus to Premium, prorated, from the /premium page once your first payment has gone through, and cancel anytime: your benefits run to the end of the period you already paid for.

## What's free, what needs a free account, and what needs Plus or Premium

The pattern is deliberate: **nothing about seeing a price is ever gated.** A free account adds the things every collector eventually wants (a watchlist of up to 10 cards, a portfolio of up to 50, the top three of each deal list and your own Best Basket total), and the set checklist below. Plus takes the ads away and the limits off, shows every deal, and watches cards and sealed products for you. Premium adds the store-by-store plans, the minimum condition, the deck price watch and Demand Finder.

## What's free: the set checklist

**What it does:** tick what's in your binder and see how far through a set you are, what's missing, and the cheapest listing for each missing card in your country. Count the base set, or every printing we track (alt-arts, overnumbered prints and Signatures), and export the missing list. Importing a CSV of your binder, with the printing kept, is free. **What it costs:** it's free for your first 50 cards; Plus removes the limit so a whole set fits, and nobody loses cards they already have. **What the number means:** the cost to finish is the cheapest in-stock store listing today for each missing card, before postage; cards no tracked store has in stock are counted separately, and eBay is left out. Radiance shows how many cards are revealed so far until the set is complete, never a percentage. **When you'd use it:** you're completing a set and want to know what's left without keeping a spreadsheet. ## What Plus adds

### 1. No ads on any page

**What it does:** removes every ad on every page — card pages, set lists, guides and the app — from the moment you subscribe. Nothing to switch on. **When you'd use it:** you use the site every week. It's the first thing Plus does because it's the benefit that needs no explaining.

### 2. An unlimited watchlist and portfolio

**What it does:** a free account watches up to 10 cards and keeps up to 50 cards in its portfolio; Plus and Premium remove both limits. If you already track more than that, nothing is taken away: every card you have stays, alerts keep firing and the portfolio keeps valuing — only adding a new card needs a paid plan. **When you'd use it:** you've hit the eleventh card you want to watch, or the fifty-first you own, which is where a whole set stops fitting in the set checklist.

### 3. Target-price alerts

**What it does:** every account can watch a card and get an email when it hits a new low. Plus adds the price **you** set: tell us what you'd pay for a watched card, and after every price update we check every tracked store in your country and email you the store and a link to the listing when it's there, with no weekly cap. The email quotes the item price and says when postage is extra. Plus covers up to 25 cards at a time; Premium has no limit. **When you'd use it:** you know what a card is worth to you and don't want to check every day.

### 4. Sealed watches

**What it does:** tap the heart on a booster box, bundle, Proving Grounds set or any other product on [sealed](/sealed) (or in its quick view), and we email you when it is **back in stock** after being sold out at every store we track for several hours, when a store has it **at or under RRP**, when it reaches **your own price**, or when it **drops for real** (at least 5% and a whole unit below the last price we told you). Sealed products are checked **about every six hours**, not instantly, and a Discord stock bot may be faster. A restock email comes at most once every six hours per product, the others at most once a day, and never from an eBay listing — only a store you can actually order from. The email names the price, the RRP and the gap ("$118, RRP $120"), the store and, in bold, when we last read that listing, because stock can sell out again before you get there. Plus watches up to 10 products; Premium has no limit. **When you'd use it:** a box sold out at launch, or every listing is over RRP, and you'd rather be told than keep checking.

### 5. Deal Finder — underpriced vs TCGplayer and vs eBay

**What it does:** lists every Riftbound card that a real store or eBay is selling for less than TCGplayer's US market price, converted into your currency and ranked by how far below it sits — the **Underpriced vs TCGplayer** tab. Filter it to the stores you actually buy from, or to eBay alone. A second tab, **Underpriced vs eBay**, lists the cards a store sells for less than the cheapest eBay listing, and a third, **Cheapest on eBay**, is free for everyone. With Plus you can also narrow it to **only the cards on your watchlist or in your binder** — the quickest way to see whether anything you actually want is cheap right now. A free account sees the top three of each Underpriced list; Plus and Premium get the full, sortable lists. **When you'd use it:** before you buy anything.

TCGplayer's market price is a US sales-based reference, so treat it as a yardstick rather than a guarantee, and check the listing before you pay; store prices are the item price, with postage added at checkout.

### 6. Rising Cards — the full list

**What it does:** ranks cards by a composite of **demand and price-timing signals** — search interest that's high or actively rising, combined with a card sitting near its own recent low rather than one that's already spiked. It is a screen, not a prediction or financial advice. A free account sees the top three picks, each with the reason it ranks; Plus unlocks the full ranked list for every market RiftCompare tracks. **When you'd use it:** you're deciding what to pick up next and want to see what other players are looking at.

## What Premium adds on top

### 7. Deck price watch

**What it does:** save a deck or card list — from Best Basket, or the free [deck pricer](/deck) — with the delivered price you'd pay for the lot. After every price update we re-price the whole list across every store in your country, cards plus each store's real postage, exactly the way Best Basket does, and email you when the total is at or under your price. Leave the price empty and we email you on a real drop instead (at least 5% and a whole unit below the last figure we told you). The email names the delivered total, the postage, the stores the plan buys from and a button that opens the store-by-store plan; one tap stops or snoozes the watch. Up to 10 lists, each managed from your watchlist. **When you'd use it:** you want a whole deck but not at today's price. Set the price once, and get on with your life.

### 8. Best Basket — the cheapest delivered order for a list

**What it does:** answers the question that matters when you're buying more than one card: what's the cheapest way to actually buy the whole list, postage included? Send it a decklist or your watchlist (or your binder, to see what re-buying it would cost, delivered), and it searches combinations of your country's stores for the lowest delivered total — each store's postage and free-shipping threshold counted — and shows the best one-store and two-store orders beside it, because sometimes one parcel is worth a little more. Cards it can't match or can't find in stock are listed, never silently dropped.

Any signed-in account sees its own list's delivered total, how many stores it takes and the saving against buying each card's cheapest copy separately — in money, from your own list, so you can see whether the plan pays for itself on the first order. Premium shows which store to buy each card from, with the links. **When you'd use it:** buying a whole deck or list. It helps most outside the US, where the stores RiftCompare tracks each charge their own postage.

### 9. Minimum condition

**What it does:** set the lowest condition you'll accept — Near Mint only, Lightly Played or better, or anything — and Best Basket's plan, Buy this list and the deck price watch only use listings at or above it, so the cheapest plan can't quietly include a heavily played copy. Each line still shows its condition, and a card with nothing at that grade in stock is shown as not covered, never filled with a played copy. The deck watch email uses the same rule as the page. Without Premium, your own total counts each store's cheapest copy in any condition and says how many played copies that includes. **When you'd use it:** you play your cards, or you're completing a collection, and want the cheapest copy in the condition you'll accept.

### 10. Finish this set

**What it does:** press "Plan the purchase" on your set checklist, or choose "Finish a set" in Best Basket, and it prices the cards you're missing from that set — one copy each, everything you own left out — as one delivered order with each store's measured postage. A plan holds up to 200 cards: a bigger gap is planned 200 at a time, cheapest first, and it says how many more aren't included. Cards no tracked store has in stock are listed apart. Any signed-in account sees its own total and saving; Premium shows which store to buy each card from. **When you'd use it:** you're most of the way through a set and want the rest ordered without a dozen small postage bills.

### 11. Buy this list

**What it does:** sends a list from the deck builder or your whole watchlist straight into Best Basket, and **Skip copies I already own** subtracts what's in your portfolio before it optimises, so you never re-buy a card you already have. Your binder can be sent too — it prices what replacing it would cost, the same number as your portfolio's replacement cost. **When you'd use it:** you built the deck on the site and already own half of it.

### 12. The plan behind your replacement cost

**What it does:** every account's portfolio shows what it would cost to replace your collection, delivered. Premium adds the store-by-store plan behind that number. **When you'd use it:** insurance, or a rebuild after a sale.

### 13. Demand Finder — what players are searching for

**What it does:** [Demand Finder](/tools/demand) ranks the cards RiftCompare visitors search for and open most, over the last 7 or 30 days: the top 25 by searches and the top 25 by card views, with both counts and your market's price beside each card. It's raw attention, not a score and not a forecast — a card can be busy because it just came out, because it's in a popular deck, or because everyone is checking what it's worth. Each browser counts a card once a day and bots aren't counted. Everyone sees the top 10 most searched cards of the week on [price movers](/movers#most-searched); Premium opens the full lists. **When you'd use it:** you're curious what other players are looking at this week.

## Where to find each of these on the site

Nothing here hides behind a menu. The heart on a card is the watch; a target is set on [your watchlist](/watching). The heart on a sealed product is the sealed watch. "Watch this list" sits under a Best Basket result and under the deck pricer's total. Your watchlist page has a section for each kind, with the target, a 30-day snooze and a stop for every watch — and every email carries the same one-tap links.

## What changed on 25 September 2026

The Value Finder, Rising Sealed, the Bulk Pricer and the Condition Impact Calculator used to be listed here. They've left the paid tiers, and their old links now go to the free pages that carry what was useful in them: paste-a-list pricing is part of the free [deck builder](/deck), sealed products keep their live prices on [sealed](/sealed), and the [condition guide](/guides/riftbound-card-condition-guide) explains what each grade does to a price. Each was either unreliable with the price history we have, free elsewhere on the site already, or the same answer for every card. Fewer tools, each one worth paying for. Demand Finder left the same morning and came back that day as a Premium tool, with its counter hardened against inflated counts.

## Two free ways to get Premium without paying

You don't have to subscribe to try it:

- **[Invite a friend](/profile)** — share your referral link, and every friend who creates a free account earns you **3 days of Premium**, free.
- **[Submit feedback once](/feedback)** — a bug report, a feature request, anything genuinely useful — and it unlocks a full **week of Premium, free**, no card required either.

Neither of these requires ever entering a payment method. If Premium turns out to not be for you, both simply expire with nothing charged.

## Who should actually pay for it

Being straightforward here, since the point of this post is accuracy over hype: if you only ever check a handful of card prices before buying, the free account already does that job completely — you'd be paying for features you won't use. The two paid tiers are for two kinds of buyer:

1. **Plus is for buying singles and sealed regularly** — it takes the ads away, shows every card below TCGplayer market, and emails you when a card you watch reaches your price or a box you want is back at RRP.
2. **Premium is for buying a whole deck or list, without checking every day** — the deck price watch tells you when the whole thing is at your price, and Best Basket and Buy this list turn it into the cheapest delivered order across your country's stores, skipping what you already own. It also opens Demand Finder in full.

If neither of those describes how you use the site, the free tier — which still includes full price comparison, alerts on up to 10 cards and a portfolio tracker for up to 50 — is genuinely not a downgrade. That's a deliberate design choice, not a limitation we're hoping you won't notice.
