# Riftbound Vendetta Chase Cards — Every Tier

Vendetta is out. Here's every chase-card tier in the set — signed Signature Legends, connecting-art Rival Overnumbers, Showcases, alt-arts and the Epic sleepers — each with a live gallery and real prices compared across every store.

**Riftbound: Vendetta is out.** Singles are trading, stores are listing, and the set's **chase cards** — the premium pulls that drive box prices — now have real prices instead of predictions.

This post breaks the chase down **tier by tier**, from the rarest pull down. Every tier has a live gallery of the real printings we've imported: tap any card to open its page and see its price compared across every store we track, in your own market's currency.

## Tier 1: Signature Legends

The top of the pyramid. A **Signature** card carries a **"\*" in its collector number** (like Spiritforged's 223\*/221) and the **artist's stamped signature** on the art — the rarest, most contested pulls in any Riftbound set, and the cards that headline box openings.

Vendetta's Signature Legends cover the set's marquee champions, including **Akali, Zed, Shen, Mel, Jayce, Kennen and Renekton**. These are consistently the most expensive singles in the set by a wide margin.

## Tier 2: Overnumbered chases

An **Overnumbered** card carries a collector number *beyond* the set's total — Vendetta is a 166-card set, so anything numbered **167/166 or higher** is printed at a much lower rate than the set proper. The set includes champion Overnumbers for **Vi, Jinx, Jayce, Viktor, Rengar, Kha'Zix, Gangplank and Illaoi**, a run of Overnumbered spell and gear reprints with premium treatments, and **SP-numbered specials** like **Ahri, Inquisitive** that sit outside the main numbering entirely — plus the Overnumbered treatments for **Swain, Irelia, Ambessa, Mel, Kennen, Akali and Nasus**.

One demand note that still holds: **rival pairs with connecting artwork** get priced as a *pair* — the scarcer half sets the cost of completing the display piece.

## Tier 3: Promo cards

**Promos** — prerelease stamps, Nexus Night packs and organized-play printings — are the wildcard tier: print runs are small, distribution is event-bound, and the best ones routinely outprice regular chase cards (Origins' OP promos are the precedent). The gallery below holds every Vendetta promo we've confirmed and imported, and grows as more are distributed through events.

## Tier 4: Alternate-art chases

The broadest premium pool: **alt-art printings** of the set's champions and key spells, marked with a letter after the collector number (021a, 138a, …). Both faces of the Showdown Deck rivalry get one — **Zed, From the Shadows** and **Shen, Leader of the Kinkou Order** — alongside **Akali, Renekton, Nasus, Jayce, Mel, Kennen and Ambessa**.

Alt-arts are where art taste drives price more than playability: historically the champions with the biggest fanbases (and the cleanest full-art treatments) hold value even when the base card sees no play.

## Tier 5: The Epic-rarity sleepers

The tier collectors overlook — and shouldn't. In **Origins** the pattern was set by **Kai'Sa**: an Epic that was both *strong in play* and *genuinely beautiful*, and it out-priced plenty of flashier pulls. The way to spot the Vendetta equivalent: an Epic champion that headlines a real deck **and** looks good enough that players want the exact copy they play with.

The champion Epics include **Akali, Deadly Weapon** and **Zed, From the Shadows** (the aggro headliners), **Shen, Leader of the Kinkou Order** (the Showdown Deck's other face), **Nasus, Ascended**, **Jayce, Brilliant Inventor**, **Mel, Newly Awakened** and **Ambessa, Respected and Feared**. If one of these defines the early meta, its base Epic print is the value pick against its alt-art.

## Which chases are actually most expensive

Now that the set is out, you don't need anyone's prediction — you can just look:

- **[Price movers](/movers)** — which chases are climbing or cooling right now.

What demand structure tells you, and what the data can confirm as it accumulates:

1. **Marquee-champion Signatures and Overnumbers** — Jinx, Vi and Akali have the broadest collector bases from League and Arcane.
2. **Completed Rival pairs** — connecting art means the market prices the *pair*, and the scarcer half sets the cost of completion.
3. **Showdown-deck rivals (Zed/Shen)** — the faces of the set's headline product tend to see outsized demand in every tier they appear in.
4. **The Kai'Sa-pattern Epic** — whichever Epic champion ends up both meta-defining and pretty.

## How to buy chase cards without overpaying

- **Compare before you buy.** The same chase card is often priced very differently between stores once postage is counted. Every card page ranks stores by **total delivered cost**, not sticker price.
- **Expect launch-window volatility.** The first weeks after release see the widest, fastest-moving prices a set will ever have — lots of product is being opened at once while the meta is still unsettled.
- **Check stock depth, not just price.** A low headline price at one shop with no stock elsewhere is a thinner market than it looks.
- **Watch instead of guessing.** Save a card to **[price watch](/browse)** and get told when it moves rather than refreshing manually.
