# Radiance Promo Cards: Nexus Night, Summoner Skirmish and Playmats

_2026-10-25 · RiftCompare_

Every Riftbound Radiance promo: the Nexus Night Lulu and runes, Summoner Skirmish Akali and Ahri with their Champion playmats, and Pre-Rift Heimerdinger.

**Radiance's season comes with its own promo cards, and two playmats.** Riot hands them out through organized play rather than packs: a weekly Nexus Night pool, two Summoner Skirmish tournaments, and a Pre-Rift card that has already gone. This is every Radiance promo and how to earn it, from Riot's own announcement, with each card embedded and priced.

## Nexus Night: Lulu 110a and the promo runes

Nexus Night is the weekly casual event at local game stores. In the Radiance season, each Nexus Night hands out promo packs drawn from a **24-card pool**, while supplies last.

The chase card is **Lulu, Whimsical 110a/167**, an alternate-art promo painted by **Dark Glow**: Lulu in a rainbow of poros and Yordle mischief. Alongside her come six full-art **promo runes by Jincheng Guo**, numbered **R01b to R06b**, one for each domain.

The rest of the 24-card pool is promo printings of Radiance commons and uncommons. These are the base cards, each linked to its card page:

| | | | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banner of Conquest (002) | War Scout (008) | Shimmering Swimmer (014) | Firebrand Raider (019) |
| Iridescent Avian (027) | Life from Stone (029) | Watchful Curator (037) | Hush (041) |
| High Note (048) | Trinket Peddler (054) | Clanging Sentry (055) | Spirit of the Forge (066) |
| Hold 'Em (070) | Sneaky Zeebles (076) | Stalwart Goatherd (083) | Portable Portal (087) |
| Explosimian (094) | Satchel Charge (096) | Reckless Innovator (105) | Bedeviling Stranger (107) |
| Hunting Dog (119) | Party Crasher (122) | Rousing Display (127) | Battlefield Armorer (130) |

Riot's announcement calls card 083 "Stalwart Shepherd"; the printed card and Riot's card gallery name it **Stalwart Goatherd**.

## Summoner Skirmish 1: Graves, Akali and the Akali playmat

Summoner Skirmish is Riftbound's store-level tournament. The first Radiance Skirmish runs **from 9 November 2026**.

- **For taking part:** **Graves, Blasting Through** (RAD 085/167 P).
- **For the top cut:** **Akali, Brash** (RAD 015/167 P), stamped **Top 8**.
- **For the champion:** the **Akali Champion playmat**.

## Summoner Skirmish 2: Lulu, Ahri and the Ahri playmat

The second Radiance Skirmish runs **from 14 December 2026**.

- **For taking part:** **Lulu, Whimsical** (RAD 110/167 P), the standard art by Polar Engine Studio. Not the Nexus Night 110a.
- **For the top cut and the champion:** **Ahri, Confident** (RAD 038/167 P), stamped **Top 8**.
- **For the champion:** the **Ahri Champion playmat**.

## The Pre-Rift promo: Heimerdinger

Pre-Rift events ran **16–22 October**, the week before release. Players who signed up at their store got **Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor** (RAD 132/167), while supplies lasted. It is the first Radiance promo with a TCGplayer listing.

## Bigger events: Regional Championships

Radiance's first big events are the **European Regional Championship in Stuttgart (6–8 November)** and the **North American Regional Championship in Las Vegas (11–13 December)**. Every competitor gets a commemorative playmat and a promo, with further promos and playmats for Day 2, the Top 8 and the champion. Riot has not named those cards yet. The Regional Championships are also where **metal cards** are awarded: see **[every Riftbound metal card](/blog/riftbound-metal-cards)**.

## How to tell a promo from the pack card

Every Radiance promo shares its name, and usually its art, with a card you can pull from a pack, so the difference is in the small print:

- **The "P" in the code line.** The bottom-left corner of a promo reads, for example, *RAD • 110a/167 • P • EN*. The pack card has no P.
- **The PROMO stamp.** Promos carry a small "PROMO" badge at the bottom centre of the frame, above the code line.
- **The Top 8 stamp.** The Skirmish top-cut Akali and Ahri carry a "TOP 8" mark on the art. A listing that says "Top 8" without a photo of the stamp is worth a question before you buy.
- **The art.** The Nexus Night Lulu 110a is entirely new art by Dark Glow. The Skirmish Lulu is Polar Engine Studio's standard art, so it looks like the pack card apart from the stamp and the code line.

A seller who lists a promo by name alone may mean the pack card. Each promo above has its own card page, separate from its pack version, so their prices are never mixed.

## Other Radiance exclusives

Not every Radiance extra comes from organized play:

- **The Vault Bundle** comes with foil tokens alongside its six booster packs and runes. They are part of the product, not a promo you earn.
- **The K/DA Couture Collection** goes on sale through Riot's merch drawing from 27 October 2026, at US$150. It includes Evelynn, Ahri, Akali and Kai'Sa Legend cards and a Packed Amphitheater Battlefield. The **[K/DA Couture Collection post](/blog/riftbound-kda-couture-collection)** covers the drawing.
- **The Regional Qualifier in Los Angeles** (25–27 September) opened Radiance's preview season with an alternate-art Jayce, Brilliant Inventor promo for its top 128 and a Lux Crystal Rose playmat, with exclusive-art Jayce promos and playmats for the Top 8 and the champion.

## Where Radiance promos fit with earlier seasons

Each Riftbound season has run the same pattern: a Nexus Night pool with one chase card and a promo rune cycle, Skirmish promos for taking part and for the top cut, and a playmat for the champion. Vendetta's Nexus Night chase card was Mel, Newly Awakened, with its own R01b to R06b runes: see **[Vendetta's Nexus Night promos](/blog/riftbound-vendetta-nexus-night-promo-cards)**. Radiance's Lulu 110a takes Mel's place, and the runes are new full-art paintings rather than a recolour of the pack runes.

The pattern matters if you collect. A season's promos are only printed while the season runs, so once Legacy arrives on 29 January 2027, the Radiance promo pool closes.

## Where to play for them

All of the organized-play promos above come through local game stores that run Riftbound events. Nexus Night runs weekly on whichever night each store chooses, and Summoner Skirmish is a single store tournament in each window, so ask your store which nights and dates it is running before the season gets busy.

## Buying a Radiance promo: a checklist

- **Ask for the bottom-left corner.** The P in the code line is the quickest proof that a card is the promo, not the pack card.
- **Check the stamp on Top 8 cards.** Akali and Ahri are only worth the Top 8 premium with the stamp visible.
- **Buy the runes as a set.** Six singles from six sellers cost more postage, and a mixed set is harder to resell.
- **Compare across stores.** Promos turn up at singles stores as well as on eBay and TCGplayer, often at very different prices; each promo's card page lists them side by side.
- **Wait for the season to end if you are not in a hurry.** Promos are most plentiful while events are still running.

## What Radiance promos are worth

Promos are printed in far smaller numbers than pack cards, and organized-play promos stop being made when the season ends. Historically:

- **The Top 8 stamps hold value best.** Only a handful are given per store, per event.
- **Participation promos start cheap and climb slowly** once a season is over and no more are printed.
- **Full-art runes sell as sets.** A complete R01b to R06b set is worth more than six singles.

Each card above has its own page that compares listings as they appear, and a free account emails you when one you are watching is listed or drops in price. The **[Radiance card list](/sets/radiance)** has every pack card beside its promo, and **[Radiance pull rates](/blog/riftbound-radiance-pull-rates)** explains what the packs themselves can hold.
