# Riftbound Radiance Chase Cards: What to Expect

_2026-10-07 · RiftCompare_

Radiance's chase cards so far, and what Vendetta's chase prices did after launch: signed Legends, overnumbered units, specials, Seraphine and Riven.

**Radiance releases on 23 October, and no Radiance single has a price yet.** What exists is a chase run Riot has been showing for two weeks, and a complete price history for Vendetta, the last set to launch. This post sets the two side by side. It is not a price prediction, because we do not publish those. It is a map of which cards sit in the tiers where Vendetta's money was, and of what those tiers did after launch.

## The Radiance chase run, as shown so far

As of 7 October our catalogue holds 170 Radiance cards, 43 of them Showcase printings. The chase cards fall into six tiers:

| Tier | What it is | Shown so far |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Signed Legends** | The overnumbered Legend with the artist's signature across the art, numbered with an asterisk | 5: Ekko 168\*, Ziggs 169\*, Mordekaiser 170\*, Orianna 171\* and Seraphine 174\* |
| **Overnumbered Legends** | Numbers 168 to 176, above the 167 card base run | 8 of 9 slots: Ekko, Ziggs, Mordekaiser, Orianna, K'Sante, Seraphine, Evelynn and Jarvan IV. Slot 173 has not been shown |
| **Overnumbered units** | Number 177 and up | 6: K'Sante, Courageous (178), Aphelios (179), Ezreal (180), Yone (181), Kayn (182) and Sett (183). Slot 177 has not been shown |
| **SP specials** | Five printings numbered out of 005 | 5, one for each K/DA member: Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai'Sa and Seraphine |
| **Alternate arts** | A letter after the number on an ordinary card | 12 units, such as Riven 043a and Seraphine 138a, and a Showcase for each of the six runes |
| **Ultimate Rare** | A single card above the overnumbered tier | Packed Amphitheater, a Battlefield, 184/167 |

Two things stand out. The Legend run is close to complete, and only five of its eight overnumbered Legends have a signed twin so far; Vendetta gave all nine of its Legends one. And Riot's rundown said 66 Showcase printings against our 43, a figure that does not reconcile with the printed 167 either (see [what we know about Radiance](/blog/riftbound-radiance-what-we-know)), so read the gap as more to be shown, not as a count.

## What Vendetta's chase prices did after launch

Vendetta released on 31 July 2026 and our daily price history covers its whole life. Every figure below is the cheapest in stock listing for the card across the markets we track, in US dollars, as a median for the tier, on the date shown.

| Tier (cards) | 27 Jul, four days before release | 3 Aug, launch week | 3 Sep | 6 Oct |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Overnumbered units (22) | $177 | $81 | $80 | $73 |
| Overnumbered Legends (9) | $184 | $139 | $176 | $144 |
| Signed Legends (9) | no prices yet | $707 | $983 | $750 |
| Crystal Rose, SP1 to SP6 (6) | $130 | $44 | $38 | $22 |

The Crystal Rose cards are Vendetta's Wild Rift crossover alternates (Kai'Sa, Sona, Ahri, Sett, Ezreal and Lux), numbered SP1 to SP6, which makes them the closest thing in that set to Radiance's five SP specials. Four things in the table matter more than the rest.

**1. Pre release prices were not where the set settled.** Four days before release the median overnumbered unit cost $177. In launch week it cost $81, and it has stayed within about ten percent of that since. The Crystal Rose median went from $130 to $44 in the same window. Early prices come from a few listings, and by launch week they had moved.

**2. The money was in the signed Legends.** The nine signed twins made up 72% of what one of each of Vendetta's 40 chase printings cost on 6 October, and the five dearest of all 40 were signed Legends: Akali, Rogue Assassin at $2,807, Zed, Master of Shadows at $1,300, Jayce, Defender of Tomorrow at $1,099, Mel, Soul's Reflection at $766 and Kennen, Heart of the Tempest at $750. A signed twin cost between 3.8 and 8.3 times its unsigned twin, with a median of 5.6 times.

**3. Legends held better than units.** Between four days before release and launch week the median overnumbered Legend lost about a quarter of its price and the median overnumbered unit lost more than half. Since launch week the units have drifted lower, with 11 of 22 down by more than a tenth and 3 up by more than a tenth, while the Legends mostly stood still. Among the signed twins the three dearest rose (Akali by 27%, Jayce by 56%, Zed by 14%) and five of the other six fell by more than a tenth.

**4. The special alternates were the weakest tier.** All six Crystal Rose cards are cheaper than in launch week, by about half at the median, and the cheapest two, Sett and Ezreal, are $11 and $15.

**What this does not tell us.** It is one set. The tiers are small (nine Legends, six specials), the cheapest listing in a thin market can move a card by a quarter in a day, and Radiance has a different mix: more Showcase cards, a new alternate art tier that Vendetta did not have, and an Ultimate Rare, Packed Amphitheater. Use it as a set of things to check against, not as a forecast.

## The Ultimate Rare

Radiance's is **[Packed Amphitheater](/card/packed-amphitheater-rad-184-167)**, a Battlefield numbered 184/167 that gives champion units at it +1 Might. It was shown at the Radiance Creator Summit and reported by riftbound.gg on 3 October as the second Ultimate Rare in Riftbound. Riot's own card gallery lists it as Showcase, as it does the first Ultimate, so the page shows it as Ultimate by its number.

The first is Unleashed's **Baron Nashor**, 238/219, and it is the only precedent we have. In our price history, which starts on 6 June, its cheapest in stock listing has never been below $1,100. It was $1,324 on 6 June, $1,551 on 1 August, a peak of $2,800 on 3 September from a thin market, and $1,622 on 6 October. For comparison, the dearest Vendetta chase card on the same basis, a signed Akali, is $2,807.

riftbound.gg reports that an Ultimate Rare appears in about **0.025%** of Radiance packs across the print run, against **0.1%** for Baron: one pack in 4,000 instead of one in 1,000. That is a second hand figure and we have not seen it on Riot's own page, so hold it loosely. Two things do follow from it if it is right. The card is four times scarcer per pack than the only Ultimate that has priced, and it is a Battlefield rather than a champion card. We do not know what those two facts do to the price. The first listings after 23 October will say, and Baron's four figure floor is the number to read them against.

## Seraphine

Seraphine's Radiance printings are the Legend, [Starry-Eyed Songstress 151/167](/card/seraphine-starry-eyed-songstress-rad-151-167), its overnumbered twin [174/167](/card/seraphine-starry-eyed-songstress-rad-174-167) and the signed [174\*/167](/card/seraphine-starry-eyed-songstress-rad-174s-167), her signature spell [Encore](/card/encore-rad-152-167), and *Seraphine, Not Alone* in three prints: the base [138/167](/card/seraphine-not-alone-rad-138-167), a Showcase [138a](/card/seraphine-not-alone-rad-138a-167) and the K/DA special [SP5/005](/card/seraphine-not-alone-rad-sp5-005). Counting the T1 Worlds promo of *Not Alone*, that is seven Seraphine printings, plus her signature spell. The [Seraphine post](/blog/riftbound-seraphine-radiance-spoiler) covers how the Legend plays.

[[embed:1]]

Against Vendetta's tiers, her printings land in two very different places:

* **The signed Legend twin is the tier that carried Vendetta.** She has the overnumbered and signed pair, which is the structure of every one of the five dearest Vendetta chase cards. That is a point in her favour as a card to watch, not a price.
* **The SP special is the tier that faded.** SP5 is one of five K/DA printings, and Vendetta's equivalent tier lost about half its price after launch week. The art can be as good as it likes; the pattern was a crowded special tier settling low.
* **Supply matters.** The Seraphine vs Evelynn Showdown Decks are Riot's guaranteed way to get her, so her base Legend is likely to be easy to find. Whether any chase printing is in the decks has not been shown, so treat the overnumbered and signed prints as booster pulls until Riot says otherwise.

The honest summary is that Seraphine has the ingredients that Vendetta rewarded, and one tier that Vendetta did not. Evelynn is in the same position, with the difference that no signed twin has been shown for her Legend yet.

## Riven

Riven is the harder case to make from the evidence, and it is worth being plain about why. Radiance's Riven cards so far are [Riven, Broken Blade 043/167](/card/riven-broken-blade-rad-043-167), a Calm Champion Unit and a Rare, with a Showcase alternate art, [043a](/card/riven-broken-blade-rad-043a-167), and her signature gear, [Blade of the Exile 150/167](/card/blade-of-the-exile-rad-150-167). No Riven Legend and no overnumbered Riven has been shown.

[[embed:2]]

Her Vendetta history is the best guide to how her chase prints get priced. *Riven, Shattered* has an overnumbered [171/166](/card/riven-shattered-ven-171) that cost $81 in launch week and costs $81 now. That ranks 17th of Vendetta's 31 overnumbered cards and 10th of its 22 units, against a unit median of $73. It is a solid chase print and not a standout one. Her base card sells for a few cents, and her promo [041a](/card/riven-shattered-ven-041a-166-promo) is listed at $179 by two stores, which is too thin to read.

So the case for a Riven that is worth a lot rests on what has not been shown. Every Legend revealed so far has a signature card, and Riven has one, so a Riven Legend is a reasonable reading of the slot 173 gap. That is an inference, not an announcement. If it arrives with an overnumbered and a signed twin, she would sit in the tier that carried Vendetta. If her chase prints are units and alternate arts, Vendetta's unit tiers are the ones to compare her with.

## What to watch before 23 October

* **Slots 173 and 177.** Whether a ninth Legend or a Riven overnumber appears.
* **Which Legends get signed twins.** Five of eight so far, against nine of nine in Vendetta.
* **The Ultimate Rare's first listings.** Packed Amphitheater is reported at a quarter of Baron Nashor's pack rate, and Baron has not traded under $1,100 in our history.
* **Pull rates.** We have not seen any published for Radiance. Our [Box EV calculator](/tools/box-ev) is where they go when they exist.
* **How early prices move.** If Radiance behaves like Vendetta, the figure you see before release is not the one you will see in launch week.

## If you want one of these cards

Prices for Radiance singles start appearing around [Pre-Rift events on 16 to 22 October](/radiance-preorders) and then on release day. A [free price alert](/alerts) on a specific printing costs nothing and will tell you when it drops to the number you set, which is a better use of the week before release than paying a price that Vendetta's history says tended to fall. Read the number before the name: the signed 174\*/167 and the unsigned 174/167 are different cards at very different prices.
